In August 2005, metalmag
became a sponsor of The Metal Initiative (TMI), an industry-wide program designed to educate building owners about the benefits of using metal roof and wall systems in commercial, industrial and institutional buildings. Wanting to do all we could to support TMI, we devoted much of the January 2006 issue of metalmag to the initiative. The issue includes background information about TMI and corporate profiles of many TMI sponsors.
Our goal was to be an active TMI sponsor and further educate metalmag readers about important metal construction industry happenings. We also wanted to spread the word about the many exceptional companies devoted to the industry, including roof and wall panel manufacturers, fastener
companies, coating and chemical companies, associations, suppliers and others.
