Products: This medical and dental facility features Metallic Ultra-Dek roof from Metallic Building Co., Houston. The structure is trapezoidal to provide durability and weathertightness and features an interlocking snap seam. Endwall and sidewall panels consist of Metallic PBR panels. Exterior walls are framed with 8-inch light-gauge studs to allow for the minimum 8-inch fiberglass insulation with an additional 2 inches of rigid at the masonry exteriors.
Fine Points: To improve environmental performance, the project features a high-efficiency HVAC and electrical system, R-30 roof insulation and low-volume plumbing fixtures.
